Direct Download
Shrink Your OS:
1. Begin by selecting the OS folder you would like to shrink items out of.
2. Checkmark all of the items you would like to shrink (remove) from the selected OS.
3. Either click "Shrink My OS" or use the shortcut above to start the shrink process. Shrink will now display your current Java folder size.
4. When complete, it will display your shrunk Java size and total shrink amount.
4a. If installing the OS, now you will want to plug in your phone and select "Launch Loader" or use the shortcut above.
Live Shrink:
This is a BETA feature that shrinks the OS on a device that has one that is unshrunk/untouched. Follow the steps below to try it:
1. Plug in your device
2. Create a full back-up of your device
3. Select all items you would like shrunk (removed) from the OS on your device.
4. Click "Shrink My OS Live" and confirm.
5. Device should reboot and should now be shrunk.
Note: If items you selected have not been removed, try it once more as sometimes removal of certain .cod files will initiate a reboot before the app is done trying to remove them.
Put It Back:
1. Begin by selecting the OS folder you would like to restore items to.
2. Checkmark all of the items you would like to restore to the selected OS.
3. Click "Put It Back" and it will begin restoring your selections.
4. A message box will notify you when the process is complete.
4a. If installing the OS, now you will want to plug in your phone and select "Launch Loader" or use the shortcut above.
Settings:
Save - Will save settings to BBHToolSettings.ini
Load - Will load settings from BBHToolSettings.ini
Tweet Shrink Results:
Use this button after you have shrunk your OS to tweet @BBHybrids letting us now how much your OS was shrunk.
Note: This will launch your default browser.
Custom Shrink:
1. Click "Custom Shrink"
2. Enter a string for Shrink to remove. Example: net_rim_bb_media* would remove all files that start like that (Must end in * or .cod)
3. Click "Use Custom Shrink Settings"
4. Shrink as normal
